    A southern Vermont ski area known for its wide, groomer-friendly terrain across four distinct faces and for being one of the closest big-mountain options to the Northeast corridor. It's especially strong for families and progression-minded skiers, with a well-regarded terrain park scene (Carinthia) and extensive snowmaking that helps it open early each season.

    A higher-end resort with a 3,875-foot summit and a polished, pedestrian-friendly base village full of dining, shops, and slopeside lodging. It's known for steady, well-groomed intermediate cruisers, a gondola-served summit, and a more upscale, destination feel than most of its southern Vermont neighbors.
